New Years Resolutions. As always.
I suppose it’s normal to do a new years resolution thing. And usually I fail about 75% of the resolutions. At the same time I’m relatively happy with a 25% success rate, so we’ll see how things go this year. I think I’ll have more “grown up” resolutions than previous years. Some things just don’t belong on a resolutions list. For example: I’d put “go to the gym” on this list but honestly, I don’t really care to go for any reason other than for personal aesthetic purposes because health wise, my blood pressure is absolutely above average and so is all my blood-work, which totally negates the motivation to go to the gym.
In no order of importance:
1.) Be there to watch my puppy grow up and try to walk him as much as possible
2.) Keep a compassionate heart in the medical field
3.) Go to church & read the word regularly
4.) Live simply and stop chasing after unnecessary possessions.
5.) Get rid of the “I’m young” excuse. Life’s not about the pursuit of hedonism.
I.E. “it’s okay to do ____, I’m young”.
6.) Save $$$, max ROTH and be thrifty
7.) Give priority to people who care and stop caring to please everyone.
8.) Don’t drink soda
9.) Try to learn something new every day
10.) Smile
