Mu$1k

So about 4 months ago I finally bought this new keyboard. OMFG BEST PURCHASE EVER! It has some nice weighted keys and it’s been rather pleasant and easy to use. I ended up dropping a good amount of money and at first I was wondering if it was worth it but honestly, it has been a well rewarding investment for the most part. No more crappy m-audio starter piano!

Just from a busy day I realize how a simple thing like music can just whisk away your stresses and give you an empty slate to sleep on. Whenever I’ve been home i’ve been trying to record a little bit of something. My mom loves it when I play piano at home so I’ve made a little 10 song cd of stuff I’ve written and played for her. I love that I actually have music composition paper to be able to make a clean definite song instead of freestyling like I used to do. Thank goodness I finished all the levels of theory. I never knew theory could be so useful and it was honestly the most annoying thing in the world to learn but now that it’s being practiced, I’m glad I went through it (even the fugues, serialism, fibonacci numbers, all the way down to canon at the 12th  at 3-3/4 beat delays -_-). It may not seem like it but music influences my day severely! I’m more of the lay around in my room with the music blasting kinda person and I don’t like bother other people with it so whenever someone comes over I turn it down. Don’t get it twisted, son.

So I was doing some research on music composition and I saw the funniest punchline. “I’m a fermata, so hold me just a second longer.” Then again, fermatas are allowed to be held as long as the performer desires so I guess it’s technically wrong. Whatever, I hate how I break things down sometimes. Goodnight world and sweet dreams.
